Stories are a great way to quickly catch up on your child’s online activities in Securly Home. Stories will give you only the latest events, and you can view more detail in the Activity feed. 

Note: Activity data is only visible if your school is using Securly Filter with Home.  

To begin using Stories, open the Securly Home app and tap your child’s avatar at the top of the screen.

Swipe right or left to read stories for different categories such as educational sites, videos, games, searches, social networking, etc. 

Tap events to view the details of what your child viewed. If there are more than five events for the day, you can tap the "view all" link at the bottom of the screen to see the rest of the activities.  

You will also get an activity snapshot that shows you what percent of total activity your child spent on the different types of activities. 

We also share tips that will help you engage with your child about school, help them stay safe online, and assist them in being responsible digital citizens, among other things. 

Stories are updated every 24 hours at 4 PM. You can set up reminders to get a notification when that happens. Just turn on the notification by going to the "Account" menu, then "Manage Notifications".
